Dear 1965 HPHS Classmates:
We have had a slow response to our 75th Birthday Celebration for the High Point classmates of 1965 and we have taken into consideration all of the outside things that don’t make an indoor gathering ideal and respect those who have chosen to not attend, but we have some great news! We have been in contact with the Annapolis Elks and they too are feeling the effects of this pandemic and are willing to work with us. As an update we will be having one gathering on Saturday April 30th, 2022 from 6 to 11 p.m. and the cost has been reduced to 30 dollars per person. Yes you may be wondering why such a discount, we will just say the Annapolis Elks wants to get back to normal as much as many of us do. For those of you who have paid, a cash refund will be provided at the celebration!
The celebration will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 6 to 11 p.m. at the Annapolis Elks Lodge located at 2517 Solomon’s Island Road, Edgewater, MD 21037. The plan is to have a very casual evening to reminisce, catch up and celebrate our 75th birthdays! There will be music, a cash bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a birthday cake. The cost for the celebration is 30 dollars per person so get your money in and come join the fun. If you have already sent in your form and money we will see you Saturday night. If you plan to attend and haven’t paid, please send in your form and check. If you had decided not to attend but would like to join now, please send in your form and check. We welcome all who want to celebrate!
If you would like to join us, please send your check, made payable to 1965 HPHS Reunion Committee, P.O. Box 172, Millersville, MD 21108. We have a block of rooms at several hotels in the Annapolis area. Included is a list of the hotels, address and rates. Please make your reservation before the deadline in order to get the negotiated rate.
Look forward to seeing you at our 75th Birthday Celebration, we are all getting older and this could be our last celebration!
